Abstract. The article analyses the dynamics of Turkish foreign direct investment in Central Asia. Internal prerequisites for the formation of investment policy and the main drivers of Turkish enterprises to enter the markets of the region are studied. The author proposes a periodization of Ankara’s relations with the Central Asian countries and estimates the prospects of investment relations.
