Abstract. The attempt of Armenia and Turkey to establish a dialogue and normalize relations without any preconditions is a manifestation of the new geopolitical situation that has developed in the South Caucasus after the Second Karabakh War. The settlement of Armenian-Turkish relations is a well–thought-out policy of Prime Minister N.Pashinyan aimed at strengthening the country's security. The opposition condemns the government's activities in this direction, but cannot offer an alternative.
