Abstract. Currently, we can watch a significant intensification of Ankara's policy in Ukraine in the context of the Ukrainian crisis. Besides, the  cooperation between these two countries in the military-political and economic spheres goes off scale. Meanwhile, Turkey’s desire to become one of the world’s key powers will depend not only on the implementation of Ankara’s ambitious policy in Ukraine, but also on the US position, which can be adjusted in the face of Turkey's rapidly growing independence.

Keywords: Turkish policy, military-political cooperation, NATO, US interests
