Political Process in Ukraine: A Current Stage

Abstract. In May 2020 a year has passed since the new president of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, took office. With his victory in the presidential elections the Ukrainian population expected key issues of foreign and domestic politics to be solved. However, the new president actually continued the course of the former head of state, Petro Poroshenko. Continuity in Ukrainian politics is connected with unresolved issues of a fundamental character.
