Abstract
The article discusses the main stages of the formation and evolution of the political and legal system of the modern Republic of Moldova (RM), foundations of the constitutional system of the Moldavian state. Particular attention is paid to the characteristics of the Constitution, main RM power agencies, the legal basis of their functioning, activities of political parties and other public organizations of the Republic of Moldova.
