Abstract

The article examines the status of agricultural land recourses and prospects of the government land reform. The conclusion is made that the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex has rapidly become number one in the national GDP (18%) and in currency inflow to the country. It also notes the low share of processed products in agricultural exports and the monoculture of national agriculture. The majority of Ukrainian citizens are against the land reform thus making difficult its implementation.
