International Organizations of Economic Cooperation in the Post-Soviet Space

Abstract

The article explores and compares the roles of  major international economic organizations (Eurasian Economic Union, Belt and Road Initiative, Eastern Partnership) in assisting in organization and implementation of an inter-state economic cooperation in the post-Soviet space. The analysis of their membership as well as of their concrete goals, current and perspective tasks and of some preliminary results of the already functioning projects is presented. A short evaluation of  plans of a subregional cooperation in Central Asia is given too.
