Abstract. Despite the fact that the Kazakh-Chinese relations are developing very dynamically, the area of problems in these relations remains quite extensive. But the main thing is that many of these problems do not have practical solutions, and their relevance in connection with the practical implementation of combining the Silk Road Economic Belt and “Nurly Zhol” programs has acquired a slightly different sound. The main question in Kazakh-Chinese relations can be formulated as follows – what can Kazakhstan expect from China, and how great is the danger of Chinese expansion in the near future? The author tried to answer this question.
