Abstract. The article analyzes recent activities of Ukraine in a number of international economic organizations (WTO, OECD, Organization of Black Sea Economic Cooperation, GUAM and CIS). The conclusion is made that the Ukraine WTO activities were aimed at resolving problems of agricultural export as well as at accusing Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union of numerous violations of trade regulations. The activities of GUAM and Black Sea Organization are sluggish, and participation of Ukraine representatives in several CIS committees (in spite of the Ukrainian officials’ aggressive rhetoric) can be explained by merely pragmatic motives.
