Abstract. Economic integration and military cooperation are the main areas of cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus at the present stage. Strengthening of relations takes place against the backdrop of the growing military activity of the NATO bloc near the borders of the Union State. The leadership of the two countries expresses a mutual desire to step up efforts in the field of eco-nomic cooperation and military security.
