Armenia: Political Instability Comes to an End

Abstract. Basically results of the N. Pashinyan’s government activities during the first six months are evaluated positively. The fight against corruption enjoyed special public support in the country. The mayoral elections in Yerevan were won convincingly by a member of Pashinyan’s “My step” Alliance. An important part of domestic political life became the struggle for early parliamentary elections also won by Pashinyan. The elections were scheduled for December 9, 2018. In the parliamentary elections “My Step” Alliance has won a victory, it captured more than 70 percent of the votes.
