Abstract. The article analyzes the problem of integration of migrants from other cultures in the social and public structures of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. Special attention is paid to the factor of Chinese migration to the Central Asian countries and the specificity of the adaptation of Chinese labor migrants who are representatives of a different culture to the local cultural environment.
