Abstract. Strengthening of regional cooperation is currently one of the main trends in the development of Central Asia. The initiator of this process became the new Presi-dent of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who being in power for two years significantly expanded relations with neighbors in the region. To achieve intra-economic goals, the most important of which is creation of an exportoriented economy, the President also strengthened relations  with the main geopolitical partners such as Russia, China, the United States and Turkey. Besides Tashkent expects that the strengthening of intra-regional cooperation and multi-vector nature of the foreign police may provide a higher level security in the region.
