Contemporary Ukraine: Main Trends of Development

Abstract

The article describes the development of contemporary Ukraine in 2016–2017 along with the analysis of its socio-economic and political aspects. Particular atten-tion is paid to the “Minsk process” as well as to the development of the “unrecog-nized” Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DNR / LNR). The current politi-cal situation in Donbass is analyzed as well.
