Abstract. In 2017 the leadership of Ukraine stepped on the course of forcing Russian business out from the country. Radical nationalists began with organizing blockade of Russian banks and companies, after which the Ukrainian authorities introduced sanctions against Russian firms and financial institutions. The article ends up with a conclusion that these actions are counterproductive for Ukrainian economy.
