Abstract. The article analyzes the Arctic factor in increasing the rating of Russia in global polycentric hierarchy. Virtual transnational space in the Arctic – TRANSARCTICA – is seen as a catalyst for the conversion of natural geopolitical and geoeconomic advantages of the Russian Federation into its political leadership in the integration processes in Eurasia.
