Abstract. The article analyses prospects of Kyrgyzstan joining the Customs Union (CU). It addresses those problems that the Kyrgyz economy may confront with if the country refuses to enter this integration organization. It also analyses in detail possible consequences for Kyrgyzstan if it joins the CU. The article also describes basic issues which need to be resolved during negotiations about Kyrgyzstan joining the CU.
