The concept of collective security in South Caucasus

Abstract. Following the analysis of  conceptual aspects of military doctrines and security strategies of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia the author of the article comes to the conclusion that formation of a common approach of these states to developing a system of collective security runs against serious difficulties. He points out that  basic official documents of the Transcaucasus states contain nevertheless points of contact necessary for development of cooperation between them.
