The paper examines the impact of political and institutional disagreements on the implementation of green politics in the United States during the presidency of J. Biden (2021-2024). The study’s findings indicate that the ambitious green agenda proposed by Biden encountered significant challenges, including congressional opposition, intraparty fragmentation among the Democrats, and a lack of cross-party consensus. Consequently, despite notable legislative achievements, the actual implementation of Biden’s green politics was only partially successful, falling short of attaining all of its intended objectives. The study underscores the pivotal role of political dynamics and institutional constraints in the implementation of green politics in the United States. The identified potential and limitations of Biden’s green politics offer invaluable insights for future research.
