Analyzing the problems of implementation of Austria's foreign policy priorities in the Ukrainian crisis, the author speaks of Vienna maintaining adherence to the policy of active neutrality and relatively restrained rate in relation to a possible new round of sanctions against Russia. Vienna is trying to find a compromise, being forced to carry out the decisions of Brussels, etc. Traditionally, the inviolability of its position in relation to European values, the violation of which in the XXI century., Believe in Vienna, can not cause an appropriate response.
