The article deals with the key events of Turkish Republic’s domestic and foreign policy that took place in 2020. Special attention is paid to Turkish political course in the Islamic world, former Ottoman territories and the post-Soviet turkic space. The article considers the main trends in the internal policy of Turkey, including the economic sphere. The author assesses the current state and the prospects of Russian-Turkish relations as well as identifies Russia’s main tasks in this direction.
