Japan`s Influence on US-India Cooperation: Is AsianSolidarity Still in Place?

The article raises issues related to the assessment of the US strategy to support the intensification of India-Japan dialog in order to involve India in formats with Washington's key participation. The author concludes that the dialogue, which began to develop in the early 21st century, has by now become imbalanced in India's favor. Politically, the strategy has only partially achieved its goals, mainly due to the peculiarities of India's foreign policy and its interaction with Japan.
