The study has an aim to add by statistical data contents of the discussions deal with the problem of transformation the Russian Ruble into a regional reserve currency. Presented the results of research and analysis of statistical data concerning the use of Russian currency in mutual trade of members of EurAsES and Customs Union, including the experience of Belarus where the Russian Ruble is used as a currency of international payments and reserves. On the whole the study states very small scope and size of using the Russian Ruble as a regional reserve currency and expresses some suggestions for increasing activity in this field, with the special attention to statistical information which needed for serious improvement.
