The latest issue of the North-South-Russia Yearbook covers major trends and events of 2010 related to interactions between the global Centre, Periphery and Semi-Periphery. Russia’s position in that setup is another major theme. Economic and political problems of the post-crisis world are examined both at global and regional levels, with special focus on Middle East, East Asia, Southeast Asia, Latin America and CIS. Among other subjects are ecological problems, as well as consequences of natural disasters and technological breakdowns that are now occurring in increasing frequency.
