The monograph is first in Russian political science to make a complex analysis of France’s development from 2012 when French socialist party for second time in the Fifth republic’s history took power. The focus is economic and politic legacy left by neogaullists, structural problems and the efforts of Francois Hollande’s governments to solve them as well as key trends in home and foreign policies of the country. The authors pay special attention to contemporary crisis in the EU which is the frame for today’s France development.
