The current issue of the ongoing IMEMO series "Global Development" is based on materials from the InternationalConference of Young Scientists, which took place on April 21-22, 2022 at the IMEMO. At the conference researchers from academic institutes and universities from Russia, Armenia, Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, China, Uzbekistan, and Japan discussed issues related to the theory and methodology of international relations studies. The collection includes works that are focused on scientific forecasting methods, theories of identity and space, Western and non-Western approaches to international relations, international security, and quantitative methods in social sciences.
