In response to the acute energy crisis, the German government launched a broad program of support for households and the corporate sector as well as decided to accelerate the energy transition. The economic and energy policy is subordinated to the ideological goal of achieving "net zero emissions", the government is ready to bear the increased social-economic costs of implementing such a policy. The interests of many stakeholders, including those in some manufacturing industries, that undermine the forced energy transition, are not taken into account.
