Modern Manufacturing Strategies of European Automotive Transnational Corporations

The desire to strengthen its position in the world market plays an important role in the strategies of leading automobile TNCs. This article presents the main methods automotive companies use for entrance to the new markets and analyses the factors that influence the choice of a particular method. The example of the six leading European automotive TNCs shows the specificity of internationalization in various regions of the world, and it also reflects the transformations of global production structure of these TNCs, that had occurred since the beginning of the 21st century.
