The book covers the key issues and challenges faced by the societies and governments of the Indian Ocean region countries. This collective monograph is a comprehensive study of the political, social and economic development issues of the countries of South and Southeast Asia. The author team has examined in detail the current socioeconomic and political agendas of the countries, the present state of affairs in their energy sector and prospects for interstate cooperation, technological achievements and the background against which they took place, as well as the challenges to the progressive development and stability of societies and economies.
