The sector of technological startups in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) in South-East Asia is becoming more active every year. More and more financial resources are being poured into it, that lead to an increase in market capitalization of new companies, as investors are increasingly betting on the rapid growth of the region, its huge market and young population, actively using smartphones and other gadgets. The cities of the region compete with each other for the right to become the next Silicon valley. Having defined the basic criteria of competition, starting with the number of startups and ending with the cost of office space, we were able to establish five cities that are the most active points for the development of ICT in Southeast Asia (Singapore, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh city) and assess their competitiveness.
