Situaton in the Middle East and the procpects for its development

The article analyzes the general situation in the Middle East in the face of new global challenges and threats to humanity, such as international terrorism and jihadism. Particular attention is paid to the Syrian crisis and the confrontation of the regional centers of power in the person of Iran, on the one hand, and the monarchies of the Persian Gulf with Turkey, on the other.
