The article explores the main problems and difficulties faced by Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, and international organizations such as UNHCR, in resolving the refugee crisis. The paper systematizes the distinctive features of the situation and role of Syrian refugees in the Middle East in general and in several countries. Identified problems of the approaches of countries to resolve the crisis with Syrian refugees and designated a global challenge for the international community. Emphasized the role of Russia in the Syrian settlement.
