The innovative  research  paper  accomplished  by  the  research  fellows  of  Agribusiness  Сenter,
IMEMO RAN, is focused on the phenomenon of the Russian wheat export growth and other economic issues of grain export. The study is staging Russian wheat industry development in 1990-2011. It dwells on wheat export  dynamics  as  well  as  its  geographic  break-downs  associated  with  the  development  of  grain  export vertical infrastructure. The paper shows how the proximity of export markets influence the growth of wheat productivity.  The  price  formation  and  discovery  processes  are  being  analyzed.  In  the  concluding  part, the outlook for wheat export perspectives is presented.
