According to the National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence (NSCAI), the intelligence community (IC) is one of the main U.S. state beneficiaries from the AI creation and practical use. American IC can get the maximum and fastest result from their adoption into service. However, today they face a shortage of specialists, technical and organizational problems. The article considers IC goals, objectives and approaches in the field of AI. The article contains an overview of the IC's AI strategy, congressional regulations, and NSCAI recommendations.
