The current deterioration of Russian relations with the EU countries increases the importance of external trade and economic diversifi cation. In this regard, the analysis of Russian-Turkish cooperation, based on mutual interest in maintenance and building of strategic economic partnership despite the existing diff erences on international security problems, represents a great interest for researchers. The article dwells on understudied investment aspects of bilateral relations, examines the key investment projects, considers the issues of statistical accounting of mutual FDI and assesses the prospects for investment cooperation in various branches of economy.
