The article analyzes the position of key Middle Eastern states on the resolution of the next Palestinian-Israeli conflict, which broke out on October 7, 2023. It was found that all the countries considered supported Palestine and condemned Israel’s actions in the Gaza Strip. However, the difficulty of the situation was that a number of key states in the region had diplomatic and other relations with Israel and its main ally, the United States. In addition, a number of states, with the possible exception of the monarchies of the Persian Gulf and Iran, remain financially and economically dependent on European financial structures that side with Israel. This factor has often hindered the development of a specific position on the settlement of the conflict by the states, which is reflected in the speeches of the civilian masses of the population, dissatisfied with the inaction of the official authorities. Nevertheless, the position of the “Arab street” played a role in intensifying the actions of the authorities to resolve the conflict, as they feared that the protests would turn into large-scale actions if the demands of the masses were not met.
