The article researches the changes in the sphere of labor and social relations arising from the application of information systems of interaction of digital labor platforms (DLP). The study describes strategies for overcoming the resulting information asymmetry in countries with different socio-economic conditions. The analysis is conducted using the comparative-institutional method. The aim of the paper is to determine the determinants of overcoming information asymmetry in the sphere of labor relations arising from platform employment. The author concludes that the emergence of a mechanism for regulating labor relations, adequate to the digital transformation that has occurred, is possible with the formation of representative organizations of employees and employers interacting through platforms, functioning in a single ecosystem of public administration. Based on this conclusion, the outline of such an institutional mechanism is designed in relation to the socio-economic conditions of the Russian Federation. These conclusions and recommendations may be in demand in the development of measures aimed at improving the effectiveness of regulation of labor relations and the development of a constructive social policy implemented through platforms.
