This book offers analysis on the modern state of cooperation on internal security in the European Union, specifics of policies conducted by several EU member-states in this area. Interaction between the EU and the Balkan states, as well as cooperation with Russia, are also considered. The authors have been focusing on migration policies, fight against terrorism and organized transnational crime. The light is shed upon national political debates that emerge when internal security problems are being solved.
