The monograph examines the evolution of the priorities of the modern United States energy strategy – from concentration on renewable energy to development of oil and natural gas resources, energy security, energy efficiency and the search for alternatives to traditional motor fuel. It explores the impact of the “shale revolution” on the process of reindustrialization, focuses on the challenges of innovative development of the energy sector, and examines the problems associated with access to world markets for United States as an exporter of tight oil and LNG.
