The article attempts to identify and analyze the systemic and structural components characteristic of the American political consciousness and, above all, of the intellectual and political elite of the USA as arrogance  of the power. The article argues that under the liberal/unipolar world order, the force was gaining additional significance. The position of the United States in  this question is explained by the fact that any world power, unwilling to part with power and influence, with its status in the world, is desperately clinging to its privileged position. According to the author, the temptation to ensure by any means superiority, triumphalism, confidence in its invulnerability, arrogance of force is a danger not only for the rest of the world, but for the power aimed at achieving such goals.
