ISBN 978-5-9535-0328-0

The latest issue of the «North – South – Russia» Yearbook covers major trends and events of 2011 related to interactions between the global Center, Periphery and Semi-Periphery. Russia’s interests and positions in that setup is another major theme. Special attention is given to European debt crisis, turbulences of the so-called «Arab spring», role of social networks in the contemporary world, Russian-American relations and so on. Economic and political problems are examined both at global and regional levels (including East Asia, Southeast Asia, Latin America and CIS). As usual, there is some information on academic activities and recently published books.
