 The article shows that the nuclear-missile weapons, given the relative weakness of other military and non-military components of the total power of the Russian Federation, Russia can REALLY need for strategic deterrence, not only in the really not so likely direct nuclear missile exchanges, but also the general asymmetric confrontation in order to achieve global geopolitical balance.
