There is evaluated decade of the BRICS‟ activity, i.e. the alliance of five countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa which joined later, in 2010). Will the next decade be "gold", as the Xiamen Declaration of the last BRICS summit predicts it? The authors intended to be objective and realistic. The members of this Union, without doubt, have common long-term interests. At the same time, one can see some difficulties and contradictions in the process of their cooperation. The participants of the project are sure that these difficulties will be overcome.
