International Cooperation in the Development of Green Finance

This article reveals the role of international co-operation in attracting private resources to green finance. The author analyses stimulus and obstacles for private investors and financial intermediaries participating in this process. Review was also given for specifics of the main green financial instruments, as well as for climate and ecological risks to which financial sector can be exposed. A lot of attention was paid to measures aimed to overcome existing barriers and risks, which are suggested by the experts of international organisations, especially within the framework of the G20.
