The COVID-19 pandemic that broke out in the world makes significant adjustments to the issues of human life support and safety. Undoubtedly, all this also applies to the tourism sector, where some threats are leveling and some new threats to the security of the modern tourist or traveler arise. The article examines new moments that have arisen in different countries of the world in connection with the measures taken, the rise in unemployment and the almost widespread drop in people's living standards.
