 The article deals with preliminary agreements reached by the participants of the multilateral trade negotiations of the Doha round which aim at the reduction of the level of agrarian protectionism, facilitation of the access to the market of industrial goods and services and support of trade. Suggestions are put forward concerning the character and contents of the future negotiations within the framework of the WTO in respect to the continuing changes of the balance of powers in the world economics and their possible influence on the development of international trade.
