The article examines the formation of the Byelorussian historical and political myth of Konstantin Kalinowski. The author considers the origin of the mythology about Kalinowski as Byelorusian and indicates the falsifi cations with the help of which the myth was formed. He analyzes the role of Byelorussian culture in the formation of the myth of K. Kalinowski.
