The article analyses the formation of integrated systemic vision of current and future trends and sets of priority goals in advancing the socio-economic interests of Russia in the Arctic, including the innovative models for sustainability in mineral resource development. In this regard it tracks the advantages of the current Russian presidency in the Arctic Council and the Arctic Economic Council. Then it turns to assessment of perceptions, approaches and instruments for sustainability as discussed by business, experts and scientific community, as well as responses to opportunities and risks emerging in a course of the Arctic transformative change. Among potentially breakthrough initiatives in regional promotion of the economic interests of Russia and its companies could be the proposal benefiting from joint platform of the Arctic Economic Council for formation of the regional Arctic ESG-Alliance by analogy with the recent proposal of the Russian corporations on designing national ESG- business union.
