The research is about a fundamentally new phenomenon of the modern world - artificial intelligence. The article discusses the current problems of using AI technologies in the modern social space and the possible risks of its adaptation to the realities of the modern world. The main ways of using AI for organizing social processes are analyzed on the basis of the practical functioning of social control systems in China (Social Credit System) and the use of new technologies during a global pandemic. The thesis about the relevance of political, legislative and ethical regulation of the problems of interference of AI technologies, including in private life, is substantiated.
