The monograph dwells on the transformation of the global structure of international relations as the main indicator of radical changes in the world politics. International relations in the period from the late 20th century up to the present time are analyzed from the structural polarity standpoint. A major part of the book is devoted to the analysis of the role of the USSR, subsequently Russia, in the world politics. Prospects for Russia’s integration into the world community and intensification of its interaction with global development processes are analyzed as well.
